It’s hard to beat an engagement that consists of a reenactment of the Little Rascals Alfalfa/Darla Proposal, but thats just what Jacob wanted to do— Top his proposal with an even better engagement location.. and I was so glad they were both willing to travel because I’ve wanted to do an engagement shoot at The Little Grand Canyon for weeks now!
To my knowledge, there’s never been an engagement shoot at the canyon so I was excited to be the first to give it a go! We searched for hours on Google trying to find the best entry point and the most beautiful picturesque location there– but to no avail.
There’s hardly ANY information on the canyons.
So– we took a chance and hiked (unexpectedly) 2 miles round trip and shot at Canyon 1 (and the pretty stops along the way.)
It was a blast!
Jacob is totally mesmerized by Ana and Ana can’t get enough of him! These two are adorable!
Things we learned:
1. There’s not many look out points to take pictures. To get to the canyons you have to go down.
2. Wear the right shoes– the canyon floors are always wet and our ballet flats didn’t work too wellha
3. Bring water. We had no idea how long it was going to take …
Totally worth it and check out the preview of pictures we shot!
